The past year has been rocky for Justin Bieber. While he's been open about his struggles with mental health, he's also had much to celebrate, like his wedding to Hailey Baldwin. In his new docu-series, Justin Bieber: Seasons, the singer revealed that he's been struggling with Lyme disease as well as balancing his mental well-being with his creative process. Peoplereports that Bieber posted a trailer for the series, which is set to air on YouTube Originals, and that the show will encompass him and his family speaking with medical professionals before his diagnosis.

The magazine adds that Bieber wasn't diagnosed until last year after undergoing several treatments that actually made his symptoms worse. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Lyme disease is spread by ticks and symptoms include "fever, headache, fatigue, and a skin rash called erythema migrans." While it's treatable with antibiotics, People adds that symptoms can escalate to "facial palsy, irregular heartbeat, nerve pain, and even inflammation of the brain and spinal cord."

"Justin seems down and tired. He has been struggling a bit," a source told People back in February. "It has nothing to do with Hailey — he is very happy being married to her. It's just something else that he struggles with mentally. He has good help around him and is receiving some treatment. He seems confident he will feel better soon."

Bieber kept his fans abreast of his health, both mental and physical, with an update in March that read, "Just wanted to keep you guys updated a little bit hopefully what I’m going through will resonate with you guys. Been struggling a lot. Just feeling super disconnected and weird."

Justin Bieber: Seasons will explore the process behind Bieber's treatment as well as his upcoming album. The series is set to premiere on January 27.
