Julianne Hough Shares the Recipe for Her Favorite Healthy Breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, at least according to Julianne Hough. The star and constant #fitspo source took to her website today to share the recipe for her favorite healthy breakfast, and it's as easy to make as it is delicious.

The dish is an overnight chia seed pudding that will kickstart your metabolism and give you a daily dose of the flat-belly superfood, and it comes courtesy of Hough's pal and fellow fitness queen Hannah Bronfman (who shared a similar meal how-to with InStyle last year).

Overnight Chia Seed Pudding

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons chia seeds
1 cup of non-dairy milk of your choice
Optional dash of vanilla extract & cinnamon

Optional Toppings:

Shredded coconut
Nuts
Berries
Sliced apples & banana
Cacao nibs
Bee Pollen
Anything else your heart desires!

Directions:

1. Place all ingredients in a glass jar with a lid on top.

2. Shake very well and place in the refrigerator.

3. After 20 minutes give it a good stir and place back in the fridge to sit overnight.

4. In the morning give it another good stir and then pour in a bowl.

5. Add toppings and enjoy!
