Get Julianne Hough's Brigitte Bardot Waves from Last Night's Dancing with the Stars Episode

Last night's episode of Dancing with the Stars was definitely one to remember—from Nick Carter's revival of the classic Backstreet Boys dance moves, to Bindi Irwin's moving tribute to her late father, Steve Irwin. And we certainly can't forget judge Julianne Hough's breathtaking style, which still has us mesmerized.

We first noticed how beautifully her makeup brought out her sparkling blue eyes and high cheekbones. For this look Hough worked with Los Angeles-based pro Spencer Barnes, who created a camera-ready finish with Make Up Forever's professional products.

For her hair on this episode, the professional dancer took a break from classic updos, and decided to show off her shoulder length 'do. "Julianne's dress is what inspired our overall look tonight," explained her hairstylist, Riawna Capri. The sultry red number was a showstopper, and Capri complemented it by taking a page from another Hollywood icon. "We wanted classy, yet sexy waves with a Brigitte Bardot vibe." For a similar waves Capri recommends using a large barrel iron along with Unite Texturiza Spray ($35; unitehair.com). The hairstyle is all about movement, so Hough finger-combed the curls to finalize the sexy, effortless style.

Once hair and makeup were complete it was time for Hough to zip up that stunning gown, and make her way to the judges' table.
