Jennifer Aniston and Julia Roberts Go for Leg-Baring Looks at the L.A. Premiere of Mother’s Day
It was an evening of stunners as Mother’s Day stars Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts, and Shay Mitchell (below) hit the red carpet at TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, Calif., on Wednesday, slaying in swoon-worthy spring looks at the premiere of the Garry Marshall-directed film.
Roberts, who previously starred in Marshall’s Valentine’s Day and her breakout flick, Pretty Woman, rocked a white blazer and shorts paired with a black button-down top and Giuseppe Zanotti classic pumps as she made her way down the carpet and gushed about Marshall and Aniston while she was at it.
When asked what kept her coming back for more Marshall-directed projects, Roberts smiled wide as she told reporters, “Well, why wouldn’t I? Look at us. It’s so fun.” As for working with Aniston, who was new to the Marshall franchise, Roberts added, “It was great. I love her, but I always have.”
Aniston rocked the red carpet as well, showing off her toned legs in a black romper paired with black ankle strap stilettos, a black clutch, and Eva Fehren earrings. She also gushed over Marshall and the cast, telling reporters both were what drew her to the film. “They’re just incredible. They just want you to be happy. It’s a family set, a family affair, everyone is just having a good time,” the actress said, adding that Marshall is “the grandpa everyone wishes they had.”
Meanwhile, Shay Mitchell, who plays the new stepmom to Aniston’s kids in the film, shut the carpet down in a jaw-dropping mirrored Temperley London wrap dress and Giuseppe Zanotti stilettos. As for what it was like to work alongside Aniston, the Pretty Little Liars star told InStyle, “She is so wonderful. She truly made me feel so comfortable from the moment I met her.”
Playing wife to Timothy Olyphant wasn’t too shabby either, with Mitchell adding with a smile, “He’s definitely not hard on the eyes. He was great. His whole energy and his swag on set was just so funny. He made everyone laugh the entire time.”
