Julia Louis-Dreyfus Discusses Her New Veep Wig, Takes Joe Biden's Exercise Challenge
Anything goes at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, including Julia Louis-Dreyfus piggybacking on Jimmy Kimmel while he does squats in the name of a health initiative. The actress stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday where she managed to get the talk show host to help her take on Vice President Joe Biden’s #GimmeFive exercise challenge.
The Veep star responded to Biden's call on Twitter to have her participate in the fitness challenge by having Kimmel (who was, well, enjoying some St. Patrick's Day libations and pointed out, "Now seems like a really bad time for that") technically do it for her. Still, Kimmel impressively managed to pull off the five squats, with JLD on his back, no less. The actress then sent the proof along to Biden:
Of course, the actress could have done it herself, but she's now busy with the important role of playing the president on the upcoming fourth season of the award-winning comedy Veep. (She assured the name of the show will remain the same "for a variety of reasons.") But, that's not the only change for her character Selina Meyer on the show, as she revealed, "That short hair look is going bye-bye." The actress joked that the character's recent hairstyle makes her "look like Dustin Hoffman in Kramer vs. Kramer."
