We're Calling It: Jonathan Adler's Designs for Motorola Are the Cutest Smartphones Ever
You could say that we're pretty obsessed with all things Jonathan Adler, from the designer's adorable accessories to his chic hotel interiors. So we couldn't wait to get a peek at his latest creation, which blends fashion with technology: three colorful, limited-edition styles of the Moto X Pure smartphone by Motorola. "When I approach design, I encourage self-expression and ignoring the rules," says Adler. "And I'm obsessed with my phone, so why not embrace more choices when it comes to phone design."
The graphic patterns ("honeycomb," "half circle," and "Bridget") show off Adler's whimsical asthetic, but the phone itself is a practical powerhouse. A 5.7-inch quad HD display, immersive stereo sounds, and a 21-mega-pixel camera make it ideal for sharing pics and watching videos. Plus, an advanced water guard means that you're a bit safer from those inevitable spills and splashes.
The collection will be available for pre-order at Motorola.com/JonathanAdler beginning Nov. 24, and will officially go on sale Dec. 3 for $474.99 (32GB). Go ahead and refresh that holiday wish list.
