Jon Hamm is still fresh in our minds as Mad Men's Don Draper, especially after his Emmy win this past Sunday, but the in-demand actor has already moved on to new projects. And one of them requires him to head under the sea. Specifically, to a pineapple under the sea, in the city of Bikini Bottom. That's right. Nickelodeon has confirmed that Hamm will voice a character on an episode of the long-running animated series SpongeBob SquarePants that will air sometime in 2016.

And the character, Don Grouper, sounds a little familiar. According to Entertainment Weekly, he is "an ad exec who helps Mr. Krabs launch his frozen Krabby Patties line" and is "irresistible, smart, and well dressed." And the name of his ad agency? Grouper, Goby, & Koi. Hmm, this sounds like a role Hamm knows well.

Nickelodeon even released a sketch of the character Hamm will play. See it here:
