Johnny Depp Doubles the Asking Price on His Gigantic $55.5 Million French Estate
Actor Johnny Depp, 53, is upping the asking price on his estate in Plan-de-la-Tour—just 17 miles north of St. Tropez in the South of France. The new asking price of $55.5 million is nearly double his former asking price of $27 million when he listed the home last summer.
Now, according to the Wall Street Journal, Depp's asking interested buyers to dig deeper into their pocketbooks because the actor feels the initial price was too low. In describing the French estate, Depp's listing agent said the home is ideal for a buyer seeking privacy and that several billionaires have expressed interest in the estate.

Inside the already incredible home, Depp's even got access to a Pirates of the Caribbean-themed wine cave (pictured below). Way cool.
