Before Jimmy Fallon delivered monologues and interviewed top-tier guests on The Tonight Show, he appeared in some of Saturday Night Live's most legendary sketches. And the smiley comedian was notorious for breaking character, whether he was selling a pair of rattlesnake leather pants or being forced to record a song with an obscene amount of cowbell. Ahead of his hosting stint at the 2017 Golden Globes this weekend, we rounded up five times Fallon laughed uncontrollably on camera. Enjoy.

"The Leather Man"

In this sketch, Fallon plays a goateed leather store owner with a penchant for whipping who attempts to sell the late Brittany Murphy a pair of rattlesnake leather pants.

"Jeffrey's"

The Tonight Show host struggles to hold back laughter as a rude store clerk when Horatio Sanz requests assistance wearing a tacky '80s-style getup.

"More Cowbell"

When producer Bruce Dickinson (played by Christopher Walken) insists that Blue Oyster Cult play more cowbell in this hilarious parody, Fallon cannot contain himself.

"Debbie Downer" Disney World

Debbie Downer (Rachel Dratch) puts everyone in a sour mood—except Fallon, that is—during a family trip to Disney World, where she constantly weaves tragic topics into the conversation.

"The Love-Ahs with Clarissa and Dave"

One of Fallon's biggest crack-ups takes place in the hot tub of the Welshly Arms Hotel, where his date (played by Winona Ryder) falls into another couple's love trap.
