JFK's Grandson Jack Schlossberg Named His Puppy After This President
Jack Schlossberg's adorable pup finally has a name...and it has a presidential ring to it.
Former President John F. Kennedy's grandson revealed the moniker Thursday at the New Frontier Awards in Cambridge, Mass., telling People he named his cuddly pet "Chester," because "he looks exactly like [former president] Chester A. Arthur."
The 24-year-old Harvard Law School student, who cracks plenty of jokes on Instagram, first debuted his furry friend on the 'gram back in July, showing off the pup in a shirtless snap, in which he cradled him in his arms. "Gonna name him Fuki or Nutroll or Rabbit or Maestro or Big Data or Richard or maybe Pickle or Angus. He's my brother," Schlossberg captioned the photo. After getting to know his bro, it looks like Chester stood out above the other monikers.
As Schlossberg continued to gush over the new addition to his family Thursday, he called him "my little puppy brother" again, saying that the pup is "a mix of two different types of dogs, but I don't remember the exact breed."
Nevertheless, Schlossberg continued, "I love him. He's my brother. I always wanted a brother." Caroline Kennedy's son has two human sisters - Rose, 29, and Tatiana, 27 - who will no doubt have to compete for his time with their new puppy nephew, albeit a dance break or two.
