Tonight, the actress will make her Broadway debut in The Heiress, playing the wealthy Catherine Sloper. "It's been my dream to be on Broadway since I was a little girl, but at this point I was so busy, so it seemed crazy to even consider," Chastain told Playbill. "Then I read the play and fell in love with the character." The Heiress tells the story of Sloper, who is torn between her charming suitor Morris Townsend (played by Downton Abbey's Dan Stevens) and the demands of her overprotective father. The play runs through February 10, 2013. Visit theheiressonbroadway.com for tickets. See stars who got their start on Broadway!
