After collaborating with her husband Justin Timberlake on The Book of Love, Jessica Biel said the possibility of future musical efforts between the two is not out of the question.

While Biel served as the producer and star of the film, which debuted Friday, and Timberlake provided the music for it as composer, the actress said it sparked the possibility of more collaborations between them in the future.

“Nothing specific, but I think we had such a good time working together, and it was in just the right kind of capacity where we weren’t on top of each other, in terms of both of us trying to compete with a particular lane,” Biel told InStyle Saturday at Amazon Studios’ Just Add Magic premiere at her hotspot eatery Au Fudge in West Hollywood, Calif.

“I think we would really work very well together, and it was an enjoyable experience,” she continued. “It’s nice to be able to spend a lot of time with your partner in a different way, not just hanging out at home, and not just doing whatever ... working together was really inspiring.”

As for whether those collaborations could be musical, Biel told us she does have some singing chops in her repertoire. In fact, she has been singing since she was a kid. “I’ve sort of been trained as more of a stage singer, like musical theater,” she continued.

“I was a musical theater kid. I grew up doing that kind of stuff. I do a lot of singing in the shower, singing nursery rhymes and things now,” she said with a laugh. “But, I don’t think I would call myself a singer.”

Still, she said, “You never know ... that would be super fun.” Biel continued, “He obviously writes, in my opinion, some of the best music around, so I would not be going wrong if he was writing something for me to sing, or whatever.”

Speaking of musical collabs, Biel recently showed off her rapping skills as she had some fun with Giovanni Ribisi, Bryan Cranston and James Corden in a soap opera drama-themed skit for the Late Late Show Thursday, which they performed entirely in Kanye West lyrics.

“It was so much fun, actually,” she said. “It was kind of nerve-wracking to sort of be over the top and be really theatrical because we worked so carefully to not do that normally. So, it was very freeing, and those two were so fun.”

“Bryan is literally the most lovely man and his family are so inspiring,” she continued. “His wife, they’ve been married forever, and you just look at a couple like that and you just go, 'You know what? I want that. I want to emulate that.'”

It seems like Biel and Timberlake, who are parents to 1-year-old son Silas, are on their way.
