Jessica Alba Gives Us a Red Carpet Lesson in Transitioning Florals for the Fall
Florals for spring may not be groundbreaking, but it’s a little more difficult to transition summer’s flowery numbers into a more muted fall wardrobe. Luckily, Jessica Alba gave us a lesson with this late summer red carpet look.
The brunette beauty stepped out Monday for the L.A. premiere of her new film, Mechanic: Resurrection, in a strapless black Dolce and Gabbana gown, complete with bustier detailing, a mermaid hem, and large white flowers adorning the fabric. The 35-year-old actress styled her hair in cascading waves to complement the gown’s neckline, accessorizing with a box clutch, drop earrings, and a statement ring.
The mom-of-two shared a close-up of her beauty look on Instagram on her way to the red carpet. The ageless beauty used a purple smoky eye to make her brown irises pop, finishing the look with a shimmery pink gloss. “Headed to @mechanic premiere,” she captioned the post on Monday night.
This dark floral look could keep giving from late summer through fall's cooler temps.
