Jennifer Lopez Takes on Power Dressing While Filming Shades of Blue in N.Y.C.
If it were still the ‘80s, Working Girl antagonist Katharine Parker, aka Sigourney Weaver, had better watch her back. On Monday in New York, 46-year-old actress and Vegas performer Jennifer Lopez returned to the set of her crime drama show, Shades of Blue, in an outfit that gives all of the classic film’s characters a major run for their money.
Once again rocking her character's (Detective Harlee Santos) signature curls, Lopez didn’t exactly flaunt voluminous shoulder pads—a staple of ‘80s office attire—but she did go for wide-leg trousers that, while appropriate during the power-dressing era, also work today. She styled the bottoms with inches-high black platforms and a cropped multi-pocket shirt that delivers a militaristic, don’t-mess-with-me attitude.
Earlier this month, the star hit the Shades of Blue set in a more off-duty ensemble that, again, could have translated into her own relaxed wardrobe.
Seems like the show is poised to delivery plenty of pause-worthy fashion moments.
