Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez Looked Like Literal Royalty During Date Night

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are one of Hollywood's A-list couples, so it's really no surprise that their date nights are equally star-studded. The couple stepped out Tuesday night at the Time 100 Gala, where Lopez was being honored as one of Time's 100 Most Influential People of 2018, and they looked as glammed up as possible.

Lopez dazzled in an embroidered Zuhair Murad gown with a plunging neckline and long train, wearing Jimmy Choo shoes and Lorraine Schwartz pear-shaped diamond earrings, while A-Rod stood by her side in a sleek black tuxedo.

"It really is an honor," Lopez told Entertainment Tonight about being named to the Time 100. "And I love that it's in New York. Whenever I come to New York, I always feel like it takes me back to the beginning, to the Bronx and everything. And then to be here and be honored tonight, I'm humbled. I really am. It's an incredible acknowledgment."

While the night was indisputably about the honorees (Lopez included), Rodriguez did take a moment to speak out about what it has been like to watch his girlfriend excel.

"I'm so flattered to be sitting here kind of in the bullpen, in the bleachers, talking about the Bronx, just kinda watching her. She's getting everything she deserves, and it's just really, really nice to see," Rodriguez told ET. "It is so great that I get to see how gorgeous she is on the inside and the outside on a night like tonight. [It's] such a special night in New York City. I'm just happy to see her get her due. It's gonna be an awesome night."

Lopez seemed to radiate that happiness as well, saying that both she and A-Rod are "in a really great time in our lives."

"The future is super bright and I feel like we both feel like we're just beginning," she said. "We're beginning a new chapter of our lives, in every way. And it's exciting."

To cap off the evening of honors, J.Lo did what J.Lo does best by hitting the stage.
