Jennifer Lopez's Nickname for Alex Rodriguez Isn't A-Rod

Now that the Golden Globes hangover has worn off for everyone and everyone's seen the dresses, the after-party dresses, and the memes, a little introspection is in order — at least for Jennifer Lopez. The Golden Globe nominee offered up some sweet words on Twitter for her beau, Alex Rodriguez, who accompanied her to the show and endured sitting in the same car as Lopez and that huge Christmas-ready bow.

With a trio of heart emoji, Lopez expressed her love for Rodriguez and called him "macho," giving her followers a peek into what could be a cute nickname she has for the former shortstop.

"I cannot even begin to explain what having you by my side means to me..." she wrote. "I love riding thru life with you... my biggest supporter, my rock, my macho #alexappreciationpost."

Rodriguez was feeling the same way earlier today. He penned a note on Instagram, calling Lopez his "champion."

"Jen, it doesn't take a trophy, medal, or plaque to identify a true champion," he wrote. "To millions of young women who have watched you and have been inspired and empowered to do amazing things in their lives, you are a champion. For countless musicians, dancers, actresses, and performers who have seen and emulate your passion, drive and work ethic to find their own success, you are a champion."

With a support system like this, it's clear Lopez and Rodriguez don't need any hardware, they've got everything they need already.
