Stars like Solange Knowles and Katy Perry have recently taken to the streets of Havana, Cuba, for a tropical getaway. So who’s on deck to visit the Caribbean locale next? Jennifer Lawrence is set to star as the namesake in Marita, a biographical film that follows the life of Marita Lorenz, a German-born American who dramatically entered into a love affair with former Cuban president Fidel Castro, Entertainment Weekly reports.

The role is a particularly major one for the Oscar-winning actress, seeing that Lorenz was not only Castro’s 19-year-old love interest, but also became pregnant, had an abortion, and reportedly joined the CIA in efforts to assassinate the island’s revolutionary leader. Talk about drama! For Lawrence, Marita will also give the top-earning actress an opportunity to produce and work alongside American Hustle co-writer Eric Warren Singer.

As for whether we’ll get to see Lawrence sipping water from a coconut, dressed in traditional beneath-the-palm-tree garb? We’ll have to wait and see.
