Jennifer Lawrence Says Her J. Law Nickname Doesn't Bother Her
While some stars like Scarlett Johansson are none-too-thrilled with their abbreviated nicknames, actress Jennifer Lawrence says she takes no issue with her pop culture moniker, J. Law. In fact, Lawrence—who was a vision in blue for her appearance on The Colbert Report on Thursday—told host Stephen Colbert that she's actually had the nickname since at least elementary or middle school. "I don't mind it," she says.
But, the J. Law nickname wasn't the only thing discussed with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 star during her first visit to the show. The Oscar winner talked about everything from her stark differences from Hunger Games heroine Katniss Everdeen ("I've never volunteered for anything in my life!") to the fact that she's actually consumed squirrel chili before.
Watch the entire charming chat here, which also included J. Law (hey, she doesn't mind!) giving her hair stylist a bit of a scare and agreeing to go off and fight crime with Stephen Colbert (now, that's a blockbuster waiting to happen!):
