Jennifer Lawrence Was Reportedly the Victim of a Home Invasion
The actress was allegedly home during the break-in.
Jennifer Lawrence's Los Angeles house was reportedly broken into while she was home over the weekend.
TMZ reports a woman entered the house through unlocked front doors on Sunday night, and that the actress was in her home at the time of the break-in. However, Lawrence's security was able to stop the 23-year-old woman before she could make contact with the actress. It's unclear if Lawrence's husband, Cooke Maroney, was in the home at the time.
Sources told TMZ the woman broke in because she wanted to meet Lawrence, though surely there's a better, less threatening way of doing that. The woman was reportedly arrested for misdemeanor trespassing after security called the police.
Thankfully, it appears Lawrence was unhurt in the incident, though a home invasion is terrifying as it is.
Lawrence was last spotted in public in New York City last week with Maroney and two other friends at Brooklyn restaurant Le Crocodile at the Wythe Hotel.
"She was very expressive, talking loudly and making a lot of big hand motions," a source told Page Six, adding that she was "definitely having a good time."
