It was a busy night for pals Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer. The BFFs stole the show at the Golden Globe Awards when they appeared onstage to present clips from their nominated flicks Joy and Trainwreck. In fact, their hilarious banter had social media clamoring for the talented ladies to host next year's event.

One thing we were looking forward to that didn't come to fruition? The duo's alleged matching gowns. "I blew it by talking about it, because then if we did it it would’ve been expected," Lawrence told reporters after the show. "We just wore our own thing. But, I hope you were still satisfied by our presentation." And satisfied we were—Lawrence stunned in a red hot Christian Dior number, while Schumer wowed in a black-and-white Prabal Gurung gown.

When it came to beating her bestie in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical category for her role in Joy (the comedian was nominated for her role in Trainwreck), Lawrence had little guilt and no qualms about her win impacting their close bond. "She’s going to be fine," the star said. "It wasn’t a matter of feeling bad. I mean, she’s f—ing hilarious. I really expected Amy to win. So this was very eerily surprising to me." Judging by the Instagram photo Schumer shared (below), she feels the same way.

As far as what's next for the famous friends, Lawrence shared their tongue-in-cheek plans for the future: "We’re starting a gang. It’s a small business, it’s like high school. It’s a tiny world." Cheers to that, J. Law and A. Schu.
