Jennifer Aniston Welcomed Matthew Perry to Instagram with a Nod to One of Friends' Biggest Questions

Matthew Perry joined Instagram this week and received a warm welcome from those who’ve been there for him (when the rain starts to pour, like they’ve been there before, ‘cause he’s there for them too).

Lisa Kudrow broke the news on Thursday with a Friends-era photo of the two and a line torn from the show’s script. “Finally!!! Yay!! Can’t believe my eyes MY EYES Welcome to Instagram @mattyperry4#friendsforlife.”

On Friday, Jennifer Aniston contributed to the outpour, sharing a photo and video gallery that preyed on fan nostalgia. “I'm shocked Matty is the last to join Instagram, considering he was a uh... umm....oh crap Oh! A computer processing TRANSPONSTER. #FBF,” she captioned her post, which included an old photo of her and Perry as well as a clip from “The One with the Embryos” (as in, the greatest Friends episode of all time, according to me).

In said clip, Monica and Rachel are prompted with the hardest bit of core-6 trivia there is: What is Chandler Bing’s job? In a panic, Rachel shouts, “He’s a transpons ... TRANSPONSTER!” (He is not a “transponster.”) This fatal mistake forces Rachel and Monica to move out of their apartment and into Chandler and Joey’s smaller two-bedroom across the hall.
