Jennifer Aniston Shared a Clip Reimagining Friends in the Time of Coronavirus

"I'll be here all day."

If you've ever wondered what Friends would be like if it were rebooted to the modern day, you're not alone, but thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, a present-day Friends show would take on some new meaning. And Jennifer Aniston is clearly here for one TikTok-er's reimagining of the show during quarantine times.

This week, she shared a video on her Instagram stories of TikTok user JC Stewart's rendition of the Friends theme song, an apt take on what the show would be like if it existed right now, while many of us are self-isolating indoors. His version, for example, swaps The Rembrandts "I'll be there for you" lyrics to "I'll be here all day."

His viral parody is a detailed take on what said Friends might be doing during a pandemic in 2020: "So no one told you life was gonna be this way/ Your life's a joke, you're broke, your love life's DOA/ It looks like we'll be inside for a year/ Or it might only be a day, a week or months -- it's really not clear/ So I'll be here all day, looking into the fridge/ I'll be here all day just binging Tiger King/ I'll be here all day, and you will be too."

Stewart acknowledged the shout-out in an Instagram post, writing, "actual Jennifer Aniston i.e. actual Rachel Green put actual me on her actual story."

Aniston, meanwhile, has been spending her isolation time tuning into ex John Mayer's Instagram Live (same), and trying to give back to the community. She recently surprised a nurse who was diagnosed with COVID-19 with a video chat meeting, and will be taking part in a joint coffee with one lucky fan and the rest of the Friends cast in order to raise money for charity.
