And she continued to spread the word this weekend at the Milk + Bookies 4th Annual Story Time Celebration when she wore the spring collection's Elsabet necklace, a piece created by an HIV-positive Ethiopian woman designing to stop the poverty cycle in her country. "The beads are actually made from bullets that are melted down—bullets found in the area [where the designer lives]," Mays told InStyle.com. "The organization helps women all over the world."
