Jane’s Fonda probably isn’t impressed with you, gentlemen. In fact, there’s probably not much you could do for her. The 80-year dropped a major personal update earlier this week: she’s celibate.
We know she’s unquestionably beautiful with a body that could rival a Jenner-Hadid’s, but when it comes to getting it on, she’s called for a no-fly zone. “I’m 80 … I’ve closed up shop down there!” she told Extra at the premiere of her new movie, Book Club.
Ironically, the movie is about four senior women all on the road to rediscovering their love lives and yes, sex. Last year, she told Ellen DeGeneres that vibrators are something she’s quite familiar with. “Use it or lose it, right?” Fonda said on the Ellen show. Who needs the real thing?
Now, she’s busy enjoying her newfound sexless freedom. “I’m not dating anymore, but I did up until a couple of years ago,” she told Extra.
As for kissing, well, that’s a different story. “In real life kissing is better now, but in movies I worry about the wrinkles,” she recently told People, admitting that filming romantic scenes can be rough. “I’ll be perfectly honest. You want it to be a beautiful thing … you don’t want a lot of loose skin to be hanging when you kiss. If you move around too much, things start to fall!”
The more you know.
