James Franco just shocked the Internet with a completely unexpected tattoo photo. It appears that the 37-year-old decided to pay homage to his This Is the End co-star, Emma Watson, with a very bold gesture.

On Thursday, the Spring Breakers actor showed off never-before-seen ink in a black-and-white snap (below) on Instagram. Franco struck a profile pose for the shirtless image, and it's clear to see that Watson's face is definitely on his neck and her first name is inscribed below. In the caption, Franco declared his love for Watson's Harry Potter character, Hermione Granger—but don't worry, this new ink is only temporary.

Franco credits Cheyenne Randall for the masterpiece, and the artist also uploaded the picture. In the image's caption Randall included #shoppedtattoos, which is—more than likely—short for Photoshopped tattoos. Take a look at the photo below and decide for yourself.
