Jacob Tremblay just turned 10 years old, but he’s wise and compassionate beyond his years. The Room star celebrated his birthday on Wednesday and decided to dedicate his big day to "another special Jacob": Jacob Hall, the 6-year-old who was killed in a school shooting on Sept. 28 and laid to rest at a superhero-themed funeral on Wednesday.

“Today is my 10th birthday & I am dressed as a superhero to honor another special Jacob,” he wrote in the caption of a tear-jerking photo of himself dressed as Iron Man and holding his hands in the shape of a heart on his chest. "I wish that Jacob Hall’s family & friends feel lots of love & peace today. #superheroesforjacob."

Jacob Hall passed away on Saturday at Greenville Medical Center after the senseless shooting, and his family honored his love of superheroes by hosting a themed funeral. Mourners dressed as Superman, Batman, Avengers, and more heroes to remember the fun-loving 6-year-old.
