Attention Twilight fans! Stephenie Meyer, the mastermind behind Bella and Edward's epic vampire love story, has another book-turned-movie hitting big screens nationwide tonight. The Host stars Diane Kruger as The Seeker, a member of an invading race that intends to overtake humanity by inhabiting their bodies and erasing their memories. Saoirse Ronan plays opposite Kruger as Melanie, the leader of a group resisting the invasion. "To me, the movie's about—when we take all of that passion and emotion out of the world, what do we really have left?" Ronan told at a New York screening of the film, hosted by The Cinema Society. "It's very much about love versus attraction, which can be very different things." Kruger will agree—there's something for everyone. "I would say that people who like Twilight or Stephenie Meyer’s work will definitely enjoy the romance part of the movie, but there is actually a lot of action in this film, too," she said. "I think that’s the thing about movies, everyone can get something out of it." Sounds like an out-of-this-world combo to us! Click here to see where it's playing near you.
