The lookbook for Kate Moss's highly anticipated second collection for Topshop is finally here. With everything from fringy jackets to slinky metallic dresses and even silk pajamas and a wedding dress, the collection is just like Kate herself: a little bit glamorous, a little bit boho, a little bit rocker and every bit amazing. Organized into four themes, the collection features tailoring noir, balearic dressing, cocktail hour and pyjama dressing. What is exactly is tailoring noir? In a Moss world it includes slick suits, sultry smoking jackets, glitzy fringe dresses and liquid lame blouses. "I wanted to make the line chic and glamorous, while keeping the essence of the collection," Moss says on Topshop.com. Of balearic dressing ("balearic" refers to the Balearic Islands–Majorca, Minorca, Ibiza, Formentera–off the coast of Spain), she says, "The pieces are all inspired by my own wardrobe, items that I can wear in different situations and in different ways." Think: suede shorts, intricately embellished smock tops and printed kaftans that bring to mind Moss's bohemian fashion sense. "I always like to include a tea dress and it's essential to have the cocktail dresses for special occasions," the model-cum-designer says on the website. But there's nothing fussy about dressing up in Moss's evening-out attire. Her dresses are rocked out with glitzy star prints, sheer fabrics and marabou feathers. Lastly, there is pyjama dressing, which is exactly as comfy and glam as it sounds. The styles ues silky fabrics and billowing silhouettes that are inspired by sleepwear but made for the streets. "The printed pyjama coat is something lightweight to wear instead of a heavier coat on a chillier day," Moss says. Check out more from the lookbook on Topshop's website, where you can also take a quiz to determine which of the four lines is most your style. The full collection will be available at the end of this month.
