InStyle’s September Issue Is On Newsstands Today! Find Out How to Get Drew Barrymore's Glamorous Dark Lip

The wait is over: InStyle’s massive September issue is officially on newsstands! For her gorgeous feature spread, Drew Barrymore showed off three very different makeup looks, and the deep vampy lip is one we'll definitely be wearing throughout fall. "This shot was all about the lips," said Barrymore's makeup artist Debra Ferullo, who is also the co-creative director of Flower Beauty. Ferullo used botanical elements as her muse, drawing inspiration from a blooming rose's dark center and light edges. She lightly traced the star's lips with Flower Easy on the Eyes Eyeliner in Black ($6; walmart.com) to create depth, then softened the edges by painting the High Shine Lip Color in Black Rose ($7; walmart.com) on top of the liner. Ferullo then applied Flower's Petunia Petals shade ($7; walmart.com) in the center. "When you have a bold statement lip, it's nice to go softer on the eye," added Barrymore, who opted for a light wash of gray shadow and black mascara as finishing touches. The two remaining looks for Drew's shoot -- a metallic smoky eye, and a minimalist nude lip -- were just as wearable, and super-easy to recreate. Want to find out how?
