InStyle July Cover Girl Kate Hudson's Best Street Style Looks of 2014 (So Far)

From the beachy loungewear she shows off in July's InStyle cover feature (on sale now at newsstands) to the off-duty ensembles she sports while juggling her many other duties as a mom of two, it seems that Kate Hudson is something of a fashion jill-of-all-trades. She fronts a variety of collections, like her CH + KH sunglasses collab with Chrome Hearts, her lifestyle activewear brand, Fabletics, and her LBD line for Ann Taylor—needless to say, the actress knows a thing or two about fashion. And her chic street style is further proof of that.

But when it came to zeroing in on her core aesthetic and pinpointing her favored silhouettes, our findings came up unclear. "I'm kind of all over the place when it comes to fashion,” Hudson previously revealed to InStyle.com. It's true—the actress can pull off pretty much anything and make it look good, whether it'sa pair of metallic track shorts by Zimmermann (above, right) or split-seamed loungers.

In the end, she says, it all boils down to this: "When you put something on, and you feel good in it, that’s probably what you should be wearing because it’s going to exude confidence to those around you." For her, that means lots of easy-to-layer, flowing, and girly pieces.
