Alas, a rare photo showing off the inside of Queen Elizabeth's Windsor Castle has surfaced and we finally get to take a closer glimpse into her majestic chambers. People reports that the image was captured last weekend during a visit from New Zealand's Prime Minister John Key before his country defeated Australia in the Rugby World Cup in London.

In the snap (above), you'll notice the royal living space includes two coordinating couches with leafy prints and red accent pillows that match the red carpeting (and Queen Elizabeth's suit). There's also a wooden desk decorated with trinkets, frames, and a beautiful flower arrangement positioned at the top. What's even more delightful is the adorable pup resting near Key as the 89-year-old monarch directed her attention to her visitor. Now we know what it's really like to sit in the lap of luxury.
