Prince performs 8-minute medley on SNL.

Prince hadn't been on the set of Saturday Night Live since 2006, but boy did he make it worth the wait when he appeared as the show's musical guest over the weekend. The Purple One performed a historic, uninterrupted 8-minute jam during Saturday night's episode, and it was anything a Prince fan could ask for. As host Chris Rock aptly put it, "Ladies and gentleman, you are so lucky tonight."

Prince—who was accompanied his band 3rdEyeGirl and and guest vocalist Lianne La Havas—performed an impressive medley of three of his more recent songs "Clouds," "Marz," and "Anotherlove." The whole thing was pretty electric, from the groovy stage set-up to the guitar riffs to Prince's oh-so-very-Prince ensemble.
