ICYMI: SNL Host and Musical Guest Blake Shelton Poked Fun at Himself and The Voice
The new season of The Voice doesn't premiere until Feb. 23, but fans still got their fix over the weekend when everyone's favorite charming coach, country crooner Blake Shelton, pulled double duty as host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live.
Even better, the singer participated in the latest installment of SNL’s hilarious Celebrity Family Feud sketch. This time around it was The Voice coaches—Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, and Pharrell—played by none other than "metrosexual lumberjack" Blake Shelton, Taran Killam, Cecily Strong, and Jay Pharoah, respectively, facing off against American Idol judges—Keith Urban, Nicki Minaj, Harry Connick Jr., and Steven Tyler—played by Kate McKinnon, Sasheer Zamata, Beck Bennett, and Kyle Mooney.
While all of the impressions are pretty funny, truth be told, Shelton's take on himself and his shout-out to wife Miranda Lambert generated the most giggles.
