“Blake’s red Monique Lhuillier dress was super glamourous in that old school way,” makeup artist Elaine Offers tells InStyle. “It was such a classic red carpet look. We kept the makeup on-theme and timeless.” What better way to complement those Old Hollywood waves?RELATED: Blake Lively Stuns in Scarlet at The Age of Adaline PremiereTo get the look, she began with L’Oréal’s RevitaLift Miracle Blur ($25; ulta.com) to provide a super smooth canvas before foundation. After applying the brand’s Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation in Sun Beige ($15; ulta.com), she dabbed the Magic Lumi Highlighter ($13; ulta.com) on the star's cheekbones and around the corners of the eye, further illuminating her already glowing skin.
Offers then grabbed the new L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche La Palette Nude ($20; ulta.com) and dusted the medium hues on Lively’s lids, contouring the outer corners with one of the dark brown shades. Next, she added some dimension with a bit of black liner near the lash line, which was followed by the brand’s Infallible Silkissime Eyeliner in Highlighter ($9; ulta.com) along the waterline for a glimmering effect. Finally, after a few coats of the cult favorite L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Mascara ($9; ulta.com), the star’s eyes were set.
