It’s the most wonderful time of the year—all our favorite Netflix original series are on their way back with new episodes! Among them: HOUSE OF CARDS.

We’ve been desperate to get our hands on Season 5 of the cutthroat (no pun intended) political drama since the closing scene of the Season 4 finale. Refresher: The Underwoods unflinchingly watch a live execution; Frank breaks the fourth wall to remind his audience, “We don’t submit to terror, we make the terror.” This hit a little too close to home for some viewers, who likely experienced the strange sensation of feeling unwell while simultaneously craving more drama.

With 30 days to go until new episodes hit the streaming platform, Netflix has released a trailer for the upcoming chapter, and from the looks of it, Season 5 will be no less terrifying than the series’ lingering final scene.

The teaser features a montage of clips from the new season, set to Underwood’s narrative drawl. Claire and Frank are aggressively campaigning for reelection, and according to the sitting president’s monologue, his leadership has made an unsavory transition to dictatorship.

“One nation … Underwood,” Frank coos in the teaser’s closing shot. Watch it here:

Until May 30, HoC fans.
