H&M has just announced the finalists for their fourth annual Design Awards, and you're going to want to get to know them—there's a pretty good chance one of these eight candidates could be the next big name in fashion. Magdalena Brozda, Andreas Eklöf, Graham Fan, Andrea Jiapei Li, James Kelly, Leonard Kocic, Ximon Lee, and Fiona O'Neill were all chosen from 24 semifinalists to show their collections in front of a panel of judges as part of the contest.

"As a design-driven company, it is an honor for H&M to be able to support fashion's future talents," says Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M's head of design, new development. "The level of creativity, passion and technical skills we've seen for this year's H&M Design Award is exceptional." Exceptional, indeed. The eight finalists all attended one of the top design schools in the world, including Parsons in New York City, Central Saint Martins in London, and the Geneva University of Art and Design.

The winner will be announced on Jan. 27, 2015, and will win €50,000, a spot to show their collection at Stockholm Fashion Week, mentoring, and the opportunity to develop pieces from their collection to be sold in select H&M stores.
