Its official: the High School Musical reunion so many fans have been waiting for is finally coming. And yes, Zac Efron will be there.

According to Deadline, Disney is bringing back the original cast including Efron, Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens, Lucas Grabeel, Monique Coleman, and Corbin Bleu for The Disney Family Singalong where they will perform "We're All in This Together." The special will air on April 16 on ABC.

Director Kenny Ortega told the outlet that while Efron was hard to reach, when they got ahold of him, he was all for it. He continued, "Everyone we reached out to was quick — and you’ll see it in their spirit and the way they come together from their homes. They recognize this is an opportunity to strengthen spirits for those joining us for the broadcast.”

While this is certainly more official, this isn't the first HSM reunion we've seen over the last few months. In March, several former cast members including Tisdale and Hudgens joined together on TikTok to perform the hit song.

The special will be a huge hit for Disney fans outside of just HSM as well. Dozens of stars including Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato are set to join in to sing hit songs like "I Won't Say I'm In Love."
