After three years, Adele is back. The British singer belted out her hit ballad “Hello” for the first time on the BBC, and her latest live performance took place in Cannes, France, on Saturday at the NRJ Awards.

There has been parody after parody after parody of the record-breaking single, but nothing beats the real thing. Video of the performance shows her on stage dressed in black, backed up by two singers and a band.

Stemming from her upcoming 25 album, “Hello” became the first song to surpass 1 million digital downloads within its first week and broke the record for most single-day views on Vevo.

Adele has a number of performances coming up, including in New York’s Radio City Music Hall on Nov. 17, and on Nov. 21 as SNL’s musical guest opposite host Mathew McConaughey.
