Heidi Klum Explains How Her Oldest Daughter, Leni, Is Just Like Her

We’re sure that each of Heidi Klum’s four children have taken style notes from the model’s figurative fashion handbook, but there’s one in particular who’s quickly becoming the star’s mini-me. “Sometimes I look at my daughter and I think she’s just like me,” Klum told reporters of her 11-year-old daughter, Leni.

The former Victoria’s Secret Angel explained that the wide-eyed preteen has learned a thing or two from mom’s multiple and frequent fittings. “My stylist is at my house all the time with racks and racks and racks of clothes. A lot of the times she will come in and watch the fitting. Now, she comes with her own dresses because she wants to have them altered,” the beauty explained, adding that little Leni will often run in with her own pieces asking for design quick-fixes. “She has this black dress and it went to the knee and she wanted to shorten it.”

Don’t think Klum, who’s also mom to sons Henry, 10, Johan, 9, and daughter Lou, 6, only gives her girls positive words of encouragement in the fashion department. She also tells them, to “love yourself” and “to be happy when you look in the mirror, to not please other people, but yourself. Never do anything that you don’t want to do. Be strong.”
