We've met Harry, Hermione, and Ron–now Harry Potter fans are getting their first glimpse at Draco Malfoy and his son Scorpius in cast photos from Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and J.K. Rowling has already given the platinum-haired pair her official stamp of approval.
Rowling said, "I love Draco and Scorpius–they actually look related!" of actors Alex Price and Anthony Boyle. The actors play Harry's former arch-enemy Draco and Scorpius Malfoy in the production, which takes place 19 years after Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Anthony Boyle, who said going blond for his role as the young Malfoy was a "game changer," described the process of getting into character. "He's wearing the official Hogwarts uniform before you go and get sorted into your house," he said. "He's a Malfoy so his clothes should be really expensive but quite constraining to make him feel a bit awkward."
Rowling teased fans, "I've got a feeling Scorpius is going to do nothing to turn girls off the Malfoy men."
We're only days away from the first public preview of the play, which begins on June 7 at London’s Palace Theatre, and this is Pottermore's final character reveal. Family portraits of Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger were released on the site earlier this week.
