Halloween 2012: First Look at Shenae Grimes's Chris March-Designed Costume
Still not sure what to be for Halloween? Luckily for 90210 star Shenae Grimes, the decision for this year’s costume was left in someone else’s hands—Project Runway alum Chris March, who pulled inspiration for her look from Mattel’s Frankie Stein, a character from their Monster High series (and the teenage daughter of Frankenstein). “He works with Lady Gaga and Madonna, who are costume queens, so it’s really an honor,” she told InStyle.com right after her final fitting with March. And so far, she’s embracing the look. “I’m a little bit of a tomboy, so I really like the color scheme of the doll,” she said. “I love the stitches on her face.” March is putting the final touches on her look right now, and Grimes will make her Frankiestein debut at Matthew Morrison’s Halloween bash in Los Angeles next weekend. “When I get dressed up on Halloween I like to look like a monster,” she added. “You’ve got to be a glamorous ghoul, so to speak.” Glamorous ghouls? Now that's a term we like!
