The designs draw from Paltrow's eye of refinement, Goop's casual aesthetic, to ornate motifs of gilded butterflies, Chinese paintings, London's architectural details, and the work of contemporary minimalist Ellsworth Kelly. "We were really drawn to the look that Goop achieves in a number of their collaborations - it's always refined and luxe with an edge or a wink that reminds you not to take yourself too seriously," James Hirschfeld, co-founder of Paperless Post, said to InStyle.com. "[Paltrow's] inspiration was a fantastic jumping off point and her feedback on each round of reviews really helped bring the pieces together." Whether it be for your upcoming holiday party, housewarming or simply just because, Goop's collection is sure to add a sense of elegance and warmth to any one of your soirees. "To me this collection is like walking into the living room of someone with great taste," Hirschfeld added. "There's a traditional chinoiserie detail, an ultra-minimal geometric motif and a warm hand-driven line all coexisting together nicely. Nothing really joins them except the fact that they all come from the point of view of someone with a great eye who knows what she likes." And that is something to aspire to! The collection is available to send either online or in print at paperlesspost.com.
