Gwyneth Paltrow’s Second Wedding Look Is the Polar Opposite of Her Valentino Gown
It's not exactly surprising that Gwyneth Paltrow opted for a classic Valentino wedding dress when she married Brad Falchuk in September, but in a less expected turn, her reception look moved the needle from "traditional" to "trendy."
After shedding her gorgeous lace wedding gown, Paltrow reached instead for a short white romper made by her IRL bestie Stella McCartney (photos of the look can be found in a wedding photo slideshow on goop's website).
The blushing bride was pictured dancing in the cape-cut second wedding look. "Quick change into a short Stella McCartney jumpsuit for ’80s party jams," reads the caption.
The cape is reminiscent of another classic Paltrow fashion moment: The white Tom Ford gown she wore to the 2012 Oscars.
The unconventional fashion choice followed in the footsteps of yet another A-list bride. Back in May, Meghan Markle basically did the same thing as Paltrow by trading her Givenchy gown in for a different reception look, also by Stella McCartney.
We're calling it now: Changing into Stella outfits for the reception is the celebrity bridal trend of 2018.
