When it comes to celebrities, privacy is a privilege that's obtained by only a select few. So, when Gwyneth Paltrow wanted to keep her wedding to Brad Falchuk paparazzi-free, she knew who to call.

According to People, Paltrow sought the advice of friend Cameron Diaz for planning a top-secret soiree. “Cameron was very excited about Gwyneth’s wedding,” the source says. “Gwyneth has been giving her updates and asking for advice during the planning.”

It seems like the Oscar-winning actress went to the right person in her friend circle, as Diaz pulled off her own private ceremony in 2015 when she wed husband Benji Madden at their home in Beverly Hills.

“Cameron pulled off a private wedding even though the media found out about it before. Gwyneth wanted the same privacy,” said the source.

Diaz saw her party-planning input come full circle when she attended Gwyneth and Brad's Hamptons nuptials over the weekend, alongside Madden, Jerry Seinfeld, Steven Spielberg, Robert Downey Jr., and other celeb pals.

Paltrow and Diaz have been friends for years, and in 2014, the Charlie's Angels actress went as far to defend Gwyneth's phrase "conscious uncoupling" when she split from ex Chris Martin. Now, that's a true friend!

“I think it’s actually a very elevated and conscious and realized statement,” Diaz told Extra. “I think that when people like Chris and Gwyneth, who really worked hard to be friends and keep the things that are really good and work in their relationship, which is being friends and being parents, which they are amazing at … people go their separate ways in other aspects of their life, and I think it’s really brave of them to phrase it that way.”

Four years later, Gwyn is giving marriage another try, which we're sure Diaz full-heartedly supports.
