Gwyneth Paltrow's Sleeves Stole the Show at the 2019 Emmys
Just one week shy of their one-year wedding anniversary, Gwyneth Paltrow and her producer-writer-director husband Brad Falchuk showed their love on the Emmys red carpet.
Tonight, Falchuk’s up for his third Emmy. He's won twice before for American Crime Story, and this year he’s nominated for Pose (which earned its first Outstanding Drama Series nom).
Though Paltrow isn’t quite as entrenched in the world of TV as her husband, she, too, has an Emmy. She took home an award in 2011 for her guest performance on Glee (which Falchuk also worked on). She was nominated again in 2013 for the 2012 special Stand Up to Cancer.
The newlyweds arrived in style, with Paltrow wearing a black and white gown with a sheer black upper and poofy black floor-length chiffon sleeves and Falchuk by her side in a black tuxedo. Paltrow kept her blonde locks in their typical style at her shoulders, accessorizing with a pair of Platinum by Harry Winston 1968 vintage sapphire and diamond hoops.
With Netflix’s The Politician out next week (which Paltrow stars in and which Falchuk produces and writes for), perhaps next year both halves of the couple will nab a nomination?
