Gwyneth Paltrow Posts a Makeup-Free Birthday Selfie to Embrace "My Past and Future"

Gwyneth Paltrow is ringing in her 44th birthday with an empowering selfie.

The Goop founder, who celebrated the milestone on Tuesday, took to Instagram to thank her fans by sharing a makeup-free photo of herself and noted that not only is age just a number but that she's also embracing the future.

"#nomakeup for my 44th birthday, embracing my past and future," the Iron Man actress wrote alongside the bare-faced shot, which showcases her fresh complexion. In the shot, the lifestyle guru smiles for the camera as she sits outside on a sunny day with tousled blonde waves and a blue-and-white T-shirt, and she's never looked better.

"Thank you for the instalove #goopgoesmakeupfree @goop," the actress continued, referencing her popular lifestyle brand which recently launched an apparel line.

While Paltrow didn't post any images of birthday festivities, something tells us the mom of two spent the special day with kids Apple and Moses Martin.
