Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are making sweet, sweet music together. The musical couple brought their blossoming romance to the 2016 Billboard Music Awards stage Sunday night for a performance of their new duet "Go Ahead and Break My Heart," causing all of our hearts to break—with happiness.

The country crooner was the first to take the stage, and when it came time for Stefani, 46, to join him, the pair locked gazes and didn't look away for the remainder of their performance.

Making the whole thing even cuter is that fact that Shelton openly admits that he penned the song about Stefani. "It came from a time and place when Gwen and I were beginning our journey together and both experiencing a hard time letting our guards down with each other," Shelton, 39, explained on The Voice earlier this month.

The man understandably couldn't take his eyes off his lady love, who looked stunning in a nude, crystal-embellished gown.

The pair, who met while filming The Voice, have been together since last fall. Both Shelton and Stefani had recently survived painful divorces. "I tell people all the time, 'Gwen saved my life last year.'" Shelton said during an appearance on CMT's Hot 20 Countdown. "She did, and I think she would probably tell you something similar about me."
