I have a message for you: our makeup-filled sob sessions are now capital "F" fashion. I know this must be shocking if you've ever actually looked in a mirror after a good wine cry, but stay with me. On Feb. 19, during the Gucci Fall/Winter 2020 show in Milan, creative director Alessandro Michele sent models down the runway with faces full of black makeup tears. Of course, the look somehow worked perfectly with the steampunk-meets-high-fashion gowns, which were both Sweeney Todd chic and red carpet ready. In 2018, models even walked down the runway carrying a mannequin version of their own heads. Next up: perhaps we'll see some of his celebrity fans donning running makeup on the red carpet. Looking at you, Harry Styles.
