The red carpet gets all the glory, but it's not the only place that serves up some serious beauty inspiration. The 2019 Golden Globesafter-parties were home to some of the most memorable hair and makeup looks in celebrity history.

A few of note? To kick back and celebrate, Lea Michele chose a glossy blowout with a center-part, while Jaime King stunned (and broke antiquated beauty rules) with neon green eyeliner and bright pink lipstick.

Curtain bangs give any updo a softer, more youthful vibe. Just take a look at Malin Akerman's flippy bangs, which were split in the center for her Golden Globes after-party appearance. She also took the opportunity to try out Hollywood's favorite monochromatic makeup trend, matching her crimson red lipstick to her sequin gown.

She's got that red lip, classic thing alright! As every T-Swift fan knows, the singer is a huge fan of red lipstick, so it's no surprise she broke out the look for the Golden Globes. She paired the staple with rose gold glittery eyeshadow, matte foundation, and curled lashes. An undone updo drew attention to her side-swept bangs.

Laverne Cox's cobalt glittery eyeshadow is not to be missed. The color, which paired perfectly with her silver gown, was swept all over her top lid, and was applied to her bottom lash line as well.

"For Sarah Hyland's Golden Globes look, we wanted to be fresh, bronzed, and natural," celebrity makeup artist Denika Bedrossian said. "With Sarah's fresh vacation tan, I wanted to just keep the sun-kissed perfection to pair with the tussled hair."

Her makeup look also featured long, full, and incredibly luscious lashes, which were created with individual false lashes and lots of layers of W7 Absolute Lashes Mascara.

Abigail Spencer brought serious Old Hollywood glamour to the 2019 Golden Globes festivities. The actress pulled her hair into a voluminous bouffant-like updo and split her face-framing layers down the center. A thick line of black eyeliner across her upper lash line and lots of mascara completed the retro vibe.

Celebrity hairstylist Robert Vetica prepped her hair with a mix of Leonor Greyl's Eclat Natural and Gel a l'Hibiscus to give it extra shine.
