Go Behind the Scenes of Our February Cover Shoot With Jennifer Aniston
One might say that as of late, Jennifer Aniston has been having her cake and eating it too: she’s in love (with fiancé Justin Theroux), is generating Oscar buzz for her role as a pill-popping chronic pain sufferer in Cake, and at 46, still looks as fabulous as she did when she first broke into our homes and hearts more than 20 years ago now as everyone’s favorite friend. For proof, one need look no further than the February issue of InStyle, available on newsstands and for digital download Jan. 9.
For her sixth appearance on InStyle’s cover, Aniston wears a red dress by Valentino, earrings by Neil Lane, and a cuff by H. Stern, while inside the magazine, she shows off looks that evoke her trademark effortless style. She arrived to the shoot—held at a 6,000-square-foot Venice, Calif., home owned by photographer Phillip Dixon—in a chic fedora by Rag & Bone, a black Saint Laurent blazer, Re/Dun jeans, and brown Givenchy booties, and was soon placed in easy pieces by Salvatore Ferragamo, Lanvin, Altuzarra, and Donna Karan New York.
But amidst all those glamorous clothes, what really grabbed Aniston’s attention on set were the accessories. She lusted after a horse-bit bangle by Gucci (see just how many times you can spot it in the spread) and a pair of 5-inch strappy black suede heels by Calvin Klein Collection. “Anytime I can look a little taller, I’m happy,” the 5-foot-5 actress told us.
